3A Embracing the future
Future Tenses
To make predictions about the future, we can use 'will' or 'be going to'. 'Be going to' is used when there is evidence to support the prediction, e.g., 'It is going to be hot tomorrow.' 'Will' can be used with words like definitely, probably, hopefully, and maybe to strengthen or weaken the prediction, e.g., 'Maybe she will go to the mall at the weekend.'
